Our Story

House of Taiko is a world-class food business that started at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 to offer premium and authentic homemade takoyaki within the confines of CEO Lemuel Belaro’s local community. Backed by his culinary expertise, Lemuel’s innate love for Japanese cuisine and his family’s chocolate business, Lala Chocolates, allowed him to further pursue his very own commissary.

With their shared vision and endeavors, Lemuel, who is the drummer and composer for the Filipino iconic band, Callalily, partnered with Erlloisse Megan, CEO of Lx2 Entertainment, a production company based in Manila, Philippines and New York City, United States, to make Taiko a household name in the food scene both local and internationally.

Now with over 2 years in satisfying its client’s cravings, 4 branches under its belt and counting, Taiko continuously reaches greater heights, with the main goal of growing internationally and providing a unique dining experience for all its patrons.
